About Trustample

Trustample is built and run by Anubhav Jain, an independent founder who previously worked at Amazon, EY and Deloitte. Running one product with no investors changes the incentives in your favor: the only way Trustample grows is by being accurate, private and fairly priced enough that you keep using it — and tell someone else. Every claim on this page is written to be checked, and the sections below tell you exactly how.

Trustample began in January 2023 with a simple conviction: capable, professional-grade software should be accessible to individuals and small teams, not just companies with procurement budgets. Transcription became the proving ground for that idea, because the market had split into two camps that both overshoot what most people need — meeting bots that want to live in your calendar, and per-minute services that meter every upload. Most people just have files: a lecture on a phone, a Zoom export, an interview, a podcast episode. They want accurate text, at a fair price, with something useful done with it. Trustample serves exactly that person.

Three principles we hold ourselves to, in writing:

• Honest limits. Plan limits are on the pricing page, accuracy is quoted in ranges we can defend, and every programmatic page on this site includes an honest note about where the tool struggles. If Cantonese transcribes poorly, we say so before you upload.
• Privacy by architecture, not by promise. Audio and video auto-delete after 30 days. Paranoid mode deletes them the moment transcription finishes. Nothing you upload trains AI models. The delete buttons are in the product, not in a support queue. Details in our Privacy Policy.
• The transcript is the beginning. Search it, chat with it, translate it, turn it into content — the point of transcription is what the text lets you do next.

The stack, for the technically curious: transcription runs on dedicated speech-recognition models, AI features on Anthropic's Claude, payments through Paddle as merchant of record (prices include taxes), infrastructure on Vercel and Supabase with encryption at rest.

Editorial standards

Every guide and answer page on this site is written and maintained by the Trustample team against the live product. The standards are simple: features are described only as they actually work today (capability claims are tested against the engine before publishing — including, for several languages, with real ground-truth audio); accuracy is quoted in ranges, never invented single numbers; every comparison describes tool categories rather than making claims about named competitors; and each page carries an honest note about limitations. When the product changes, the pages change — if you find a claim that no longer matches the product, tell us and we fix it.
