Brazilian vs European Portuguese — does it matter?
Both transcribe well. The model handles the pronunciation differences; output follows what was actually said, so a Brazilian speaker yields Brazilian vocabulary and spelling patterns.
Does it preserve Portuguese accents and ç?
Yes — real Portuguese text with all diacritics, in every export format including SRT subtitles.
Can I transcribe Portuguese WhatsApp voice notes?

What about Spanish–Portuguese mixed conversations?

What about Portuguese from Angola, Mozambique or Cape Verde?
African Portuguese is generally closer to the European variant and transcribes reasonably on clear audio. Creole languages (Cape Verdean Kriolu, for example) are separate languages, not Portuguese, and aren't supported — the same honest line we draw everywhere.
An honest note: Fast, informal Brazilian speech — friends talking over each other, slang-heavy podcasts — needs a heavier editing pass than clear studio or meeting audio. And creole languages are not Portuguese: Kriolu-dominant recordings won't transcribe usefully.
