Is Malay the same setting as Indonesian?
No — they're closely related but distinct standards, and Indonesian is the supported one. Malay speech transcribed under the Indonesian setting will come back rough. We'd rather say that plainly than let you waste an upload.
Does it handle Indonesian mixed with English?
Yes — English words and phrases inside Indonesian sentences are normal training reality and usually survive intact. Full sentence-switching is harder; pick the dominant language.
Can I get English text from an Indonesian recording?
On Pro, yes — Indonesian transcript first, stored English translation second, both kept together and each checkable against the other.
What about Javanese, Sundanese and regional languages?
Not supported — Bahasa Indonesia is the transcribable language. Indonesian-dominant speech with regional vocabulary mixed in fares better than pure regional-language speech, the same honest rule we give for Philippine languages.
An honest note: Regional languages of Indonesia (Javanese, Sundanese, Balinese and others) aren't reliably transcribed by any mainstream model — only standard Indonesian is. And informal slang-heavy speech (bahasa gaul) needs a heavier editing pass than formal Indonesian.
