Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. The service
Trustample converts audio and video files into text transcripts and provides AI-powered tools built on those transcripts (summaries, chat, translations, content generation and related features). Free accounts include 60 transcription minutes per 30-day cycle, files up to 30 minutes long, and a library of up to 5 kept recordings. Paid plans include the transcription-minute pools, per-file limits, storage allowances and AI-action allowances described on our pricing page. Free plan limits operate on a rolling 30-day cycle that starts on the date you sign up and renews every 30 days thereafter. Paid plan allowances renew at the start of each monthly billing cycle; on yearly plans, allowances renew every 30 days from the yearly purchase or renewal date. There is no mid-cycle reset. “Unlimited files” refers to the number of files and is subject to fair use: accounts that exceed their plan's pool or use the service in a way that degrades it for others may be throttled or asked to move to a custom plan. We may adjust plan limits prospectively; changes never reduce time you have already paid for.
2. Your content and consent
You keep full ownership of the files you upload and the transcripts we generate. By uploading a file, you warrant that you own the recording or have obtained all consents required by applicable law from every person whose voice or image it contains, and that uploading it does not violate any law or third-party right. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and for how you use the outputs. We process your content only to provide the service to you.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use Trustample for anything unlawful; to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; to process recordings made without legally required consent; to attempt to breach, probe or overload our systems; to access the service or its content with automated bots, scrapers or bulk-download tools (search-engine crawlers indexing public pages are welcome); to resell or provide the service to third parties as your own; or to generate content that is fraudulent, defamatory or harmful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with refunds handled per our Refund Policy.
4. Billing and subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed via our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as merchant of record (Basic: $12/month or $108/year; Pro: $19/month or $168/year; Business: $79/month or $660/year, taxes included), and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime via the Billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with at least 14 days' notice, applying from your next renewal. Except as set out in our Refund Policy or required by applicable law, all payments are final and non-refundable, and no partial or prorated refunds are given for unused time or unused plan allowances.
5. AI-generated content and translations
Transcripts, translations, summaries, titles, chat answers and all other AI-generated content are produced automatically by machine learning systems and are provided on an "as is" basis. They may contain errors, omissions, mistranslations or inaccuracies, and must not be relied upon as a substitute for professional, legal, medical, financial or certified human translation services. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output before using or relying on it. Trustample and its operators shall not be liable for any loss, damage or consequence arising from the use of, or reliance on, transcripts, translations or any other AI-generated content.
6. Availability and changes to the service
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We rely on third-party providers (hosting, transcription, AI and payments), and outages on their side can affect the service. We may modify, add or remove features at any time. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, labour disputes, governmental action, internet or utility failures, or failures of third-party providers (force majeure).
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law: (a) Trustample and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, business or goodwill; and (b) our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50 if you have paid nothing. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trustample and its operators from any claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you upload, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right — including claims by persons who appear in your recordings.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account (including all data) at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms or unlawful use. Sections 2, 5, 7, 8 and 11 survive termination.
10. Age requirement
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the service.
11. Governing law and severability
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the unenforceable provision is replaced by an enforceable one that most closely reflects its intent.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date; continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
