When you record a Google Meet call, Google saves an MP4 to the organizer's Drive in a folder called "Meet Recordings". That file is all Trustample needs: upload it as-is and the speech is read directly from the video — no conversion, no add-on, no Workspace admin setup.
This works on any Google account that can receive the recording file, which matters because Meet's own transcription is limited to certain Workspace tiers and only in supported languages. With Trustample you also get an editor, AI summaries, and SRT export if the meeting needs captions.

Why is there no recording in my Drive?
Recording in Meet must be started manually during the call and is available on most paid Workspace plans (not personal free accounts). The MP4 appears in the organizer's Drive a few minutes after the meeting ends. If you can't record in Meet, a screen recorder or phone recording transcribes just as well.
Meet already has captions. Why transcribe afterwards?
Live captions disappear when the call ends. A transcript is permanent, searchable, quotable and exportable — and Trustample's version is editable with an audio-synced player, plus AI summaries and action items on paid plans.
Can I transcribe a Meet call held in Spanish or French?
